PBS has been serving students from Waldorf, La Plata, Accokeek, and the broader Charles County area since 1968. Graduates from this region have gone on to bartend at venues throughout Southern Maryland, including Hard Times Waldorf, TGI Friday's, Grille #13, and All American Steak House, as well as Proud Mary's in Fort Washington and Cadillac Jacks in Lexington Park. Notable graduates include Sylvia, who was placed at Grille #13, Anthony at Proud Mary's in Fort Washington, and Kara at Cadillac Jacks in Lexington Park.
Charles County requires bartenders to be 21, so students from the Waldorf area should plan accordingly. The training itself takes place at our Arlington campus, and our placement assistance extends throughout Southern Maryland and the wider DC metro area.
