Here are directions to the Professional Bartending School from anywhere in Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, West Virginia by car and by Metro. We have extensive free parking and are two blocks from a Metro station. (direction/location info).

METRO DIRECTIONS

(Do you work in Downtown DC or along a Metro line? We are a two block walk!)

  • Take the Orange line to the Courthouse Metro Stop. (In Virginia).
  • Immediately after going through the turnstile, the elevator will be on your right.
  • Take elevator to street level, (Clarendon Boulevard) and walk left.
  • Walk two blocks down Clarendon Boulevard and turn right onto N. Barton St.
  • PBS is in the first building (a 2 story red brick building) on your right at the corner of N. Barton St. and Wilson Blvd.
  • The entrance to PBS is in the front of the building on the second floor.

VIRGINIA DIRECTIONS

Route 95 Corridor (from Springfield, Woodbridge, Stafford, Fredericksburg):

  • Take 95 North.
  • Take 395 North.
  • Take exit # 8A: Washington Boulevard.
  • Go approximately 2 miles and make a right on 10th Street (next to the gas station).
  • At the 1st light, make a left onto N. Barton Street
  • Go through the next light (Clarendon Blvd.)
  • The back of PBS is in front of you in the red brick building
  • Park and enter PBS from the front of the building. PBS is on the 2nd floor.
  • Free parking is located in the rear of the building, off N. Barton Street

George Washington Parkway South (from Alexandria, Fort Belvoir):

  • Take George Washington Parkway North through Alexandria.
  • Take Route 50 West.
  • Take 10th Street (Route 237 W) exit (To Fort Myer).
  • At the 1st light, take a right onto N. Barton Street.
  • Go through the next light (Clarendon Blvd.)
  • The back of PBS is in front of you in the red brick building
  • Park and enter PBS from the front of the building. PBS is on the 2nd floor.
  • Free parking is located in the rear of the building, off N. Barton Street

Route 66 Corridor (from Manassas, Centreville, Gainesville, Haymarket, Clifton):

  • Take Route 66 East.
  • Take Exit # 72: Lee Highway / Spout Run.
  • Go right (North) onto Lee Highway (Route 29).
  • At the 6th light, turn right onto Veitch Street. (about .6 miles)
  • At the end of Veitch Street, at the light, make a right onto Wilson Blvd.
  • PBS is at the next light, on the corner of Wilson Boulevard and N. Barton St.
  • Park and enter PBS from the front of the building. PBS is on the 2nd floor.

MARYLAND / WASHINGTON DC DIRECTIONS

Western Maryland (270 corridor) / Central Maryland from 495 West (from Montgomery County, Frederick, Frederick County, Germantown, Gaithersburg, Rockville):

  • 270 South to 495 West.
  • Cross the American Legion / Cabin John Bridge.
  • Take the exit for Route 66 East towards DC.
  • Take Exit # 72, Lee Highway / Spout Run.
  • Go right (North) onto Lee Highway (Route 29).
  • At the 6th light, turn right onto Veitch Road. (about .6 miles)
  • At the end of Veitch Road, at the light, take a right onto Wilson Boulevard.

  • Take Connecticut, Wisconsin or Massachusetts Avenue towards DC.
  • Take a right onto Nebraska Avenue.
  • Pass The American University, then take a left onto Foxhall Road.
  • Take a left onto Canal Street.
  • Take a right onto Key Bridge, follow straight onto Ft. Myer Drive.
  • Take a right onto Wilson Boulevard (Westbound Wilson Boulevard ramp).
  • Follow Wilson Blvd. for approximately 1 mile to the corner of N. Barton St.
  • PBS is on the left-hand side located on the 2nd floor
  • Free parking is located in the rear of the building, off N. Barton Street

Eastern Maryland through DC / Eastern DC (from College Park, Hyattsville, Laurel, Bowie, Annapolis, Greenbelt, University of Maryland, Upper Marlboro, Capital Heights, Clinton, Temple Hills, Landover)

From MD take any of the following Routes into DC: Route 50 – New York Avenue; Route 1 – Rhode Island Avenue; Route 214 – Central Avenue into E. Capitol Street; Route 4 – Pennsylvania Avenue; or Route 5 – Branch Avenue. Follow signs for 395 South.

  • Take 395 South (or the Southwest Freeway – 295 into 395).
  • Cross the 14th Street Bridge.
  • Take Exit # 8B, Route 110 N.
  • Take Wilson Boulevard/Rosslyn Exit.
  • Follow Wilson Boulevard for approximately 1 mile to the corner of N. Barton Street.
  • Park and enter PBS from the front of the building. PBS is on the 2nd floor.
  • Free parking is located in the rear of the building, off N. Barton Street

Eastern and Southern MD (from Fort Washington, Oxon Hill, Waldorf, La Plata):

  • Take 95 South across the Woodrow Wilson Bridge.
  • Take Route 1 North, Old Town Alexandria.
  • Pass Crystal City, then move into your left lanes.
  • Take Route 110.
  • At the end of Route 110, follow left lane onto Wilson Boulevard.
  • Follow Wilson Boulevard for approximately 1 mile to the corner of N. Barton Street.
  • PBS is on the left-hand side located on the 2nd floor
